Ad-hoc Tasks have been added to ConstructSim Work Package Server to address requests for more dynamic management of packages in the field. These are typically tasks that are required but are not directly related to tagged items or materials as those generated by WPS in data processing.

Some examples of these could be 'permitting', 'lockout', 'cleanup', etc. Other examples of user scenarios are re-work or unforeseen work. These tasks and the time taken need to be captured for project reference.

Additionally, these tasks need to be sequenced in the context of the overall work package.

Ad-hoc Tasks, as the name implies, are NOT change-managed as are the other standard tasks in ConstructSim Work Package Server. They do not display in ConstructSim Planner and are only available on the web portal when editing work package tasks, and are displayed in the default Task reports.
